With Ascension, we can ascend to Gabite on t1 if we go second and evolve it during the next turn, helping to speed up the process. You want to have Garchomp and Lewcurio on the field as soon as possible. Through lots of testing, I was able to determine it is far more beneficial to have than the type Gible from BKP with Brooklet Hill. ****** Deck List Generated by the Pokémon TCG Online ******Ĥ ULP Gible, 3 ULP Gabite, 2-2 ULP-BKP GarchompĪscension is far better for consistency than you may originally think. ****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** Rather than dance around a bunch of points, let’s get down to the nitty gritty: My serious analysis is that this deck will be BBDIF (Best Budget Deck In Format). I’m also going to recommend changed to be made when Forbidden Light is released (tomorrow, btw). Unlike other budget lists, I’m also going to highlight how this deck could be played with and without Tapu Lele GX. It became like trying to create a formula and hopefully I’ve found the recipe. While I’m sorry I didn’t get this out earlier for the players that wanted to try Garchomp, I don’t regret how much time and consideration I placed into each individual card in this deck. This is probably one of my favorite and most proud budget builds, Sylveon GX being a close second. It’s probably the deck I had the hardest time building from the ground up and trying to find a decent budget cut for. As we round the corner to the end of the Ultra Prism deck lists and begin filing in Forbidden Light, Garchomp seems like a perfect transition.
